Indigo's Intro

Over the purple haze horizon, lies my enchanted realm of artistry,  

Where tales are told, the good, the bad, the old and the new,  

A plain canvas lies before me, and with each brushstroke, I paint a whole new world and with every word I chime, a great story begins,   

I will tell my story, turning the blank space into illuminated thoughts with lyrical melody, engineered by my poetic prowess,  

I pour out a tidal wave of my heavy infinite emotions that have grown to be lively with time,  

And it is in the hush of silence, I have learnt to find my peace and keep my flames alive,  

For a long time, I have borne with me a sore back from all the burden I have carried,  

Since my younger days I have carried pain and trauma along with me, always seeking a resting place to let go, 

I have also heard infinite whispers behind me, describing my superiority and stubbornness as a threat,  

That my light will shine brightest once I learn how to conquer my throne once I have blossomed,   

My pursuit for peace has thrived through sunshine and heavy downpour,  

Poetry has been my strength and my soul’s resonance,  

For each verse speaks of yet my bitter and sweet life, 

I have shed tears, danced to classical symphonies, and even rebuked at times,  

But finally, I can tell my story and share this burden with beautifully crafted words,  

For I have now found the pillow for my chains.
